Flames Financial Planning is a Minnesota-based fee-only fiduciary firm using fixed quarterly memberships instead of AUM fees. Access combines investment management with personalized foundational planning. Planning adds a dedicated Flames advisor, comprehensive planning, tax guidance and return review, and day-one Wealth.com access. Premier keeps the dedicated advisor relationship and adds advanced planning, implementation, professional coordination, priority support, and eligible individual tax-return preparation through a designated independent tax partner.
Fees and fit
Know the quarterly price and annualized cost
The price should be understandable before the relationship begins and should map to planning needs rather than a portfolio percentage.
Flames Access: $150 per quarter
$600 annualized. Includes professionally designed model portfolios, monitoring and rebalancing, supported Altruist account management, Altruist high-yield cash-account access, a connected dashboard, one introductory planning meeting, and personalized foundational guidance by email or secure messaging.
Flames Planning: $900 per quarter
$3,600 annualized. Includes everything in Access, plus a dedicated Flames advisor supported by the planning team, comprehensive planning for straightforward households, proactive tax guidance, review of one completed personal return, Wealth.com estate-document access, and planning support around covered priorities.
Flames Premier: $1,650 per quarter
$6,600 annualized. Includes everything in Planning, with advanced retirement and tax modeling, complex planning and implementation led by your dedicated Flames advisor, professional coordination, priority secure messaging, and eligible individual tax-return preparation through the designated independent tax partner.

Investment management can be included without an AUM fee and coordinated with taxes, retirement, cash flow, and goals.
Taxes
