Planning and Premier both include a dedicated Flames advisor supported by the planning team. Premier adds deeper implementation and professional coordination for complex decisions, plus priority secure messaging.

Why coordination matters

A Good Answer in One Area Should Not Create a Problem in Another.

A stock decision can change the tax bill. The tax bill can change a Roth conversion. The conversion can change retirement income and what eventually passes to family. Flames FP reviews the chain, not only the first link.

Common questions

Financial Planning Services Questions

Clear scope matters. These are the questions people most often ask before a discovery meeting.

What services does Flames Financial Planning include?

Planning includes a dedicated Flames advisor supported by the planning team, ongoing comprehensive planning, personalized investment management, completed-return review, proactive tax planning, Wealth.com estate documents, secure messaging, and ongoing plan updates. Premier includes that complete relationship and adds advanced implementation, ongoing tax projections, eligible individual tax-return preparation through an independent tax partner, advanced retirement and tax strategy, professional coordination, and priority secure messaging. A limited Access pathway remains available for guided investing and bounded financial-foundations support.

What does ongoing financial planning mean?

Ongoing financial planning means the relationship continues after the first recommendations are delivered. Within the membership scope, Flames FP can help review new decisions, update assumptions, coordinate implementation, and adjust the plan as income, goals, family needs, tax rules, or market conditions change.

Can Flames FP manage investments without charging an AUM fee?

Yes. Investment management is included in every quarterly membership. Flames FP does not charge a percentage of assets under management, so the advisory fee does not automatically increase when the portfolio grows.

How do tax services differ between Planning and Premier?

Planning includes proactive tax-planning guidance and a planning-focused review of one completed personal return, but it does not include preparation or filing. Premier includes those services plus ongoing projections, advanced modeling, and eligible individual return preparation and filing completed by Flames FP's designated independent tax partner. The limited Access pathway does not include personalized tax planning, return review, or preparation.

What is included with Premier tax-return preparation?

To include a tax-year return, the client must join Premier by September 30 of that tax year and remain active through filing. The service covers one federal individual return and all required state individual returns. Schedule C/E, rental property, K-1, equity-compensation, and cryptocurrency reporting are included. Business, trust, estate, and gift returns; a second federal return; amended or prior-year returns; notices or audits; bookkeeping; and records cleanup are excluded. Late documents may require an extension and do not guarantee filing by the original deadline; there is no added fee for the extension.

How do Wealth.com estate documents work?

Planning and Premier members receive Wealth.com access on day one for an eligible will-based or revocable-living-trust plan for both spouses or partners. Flames FP facilitates the process and coordinates planning decisions, but does not provide legal advice or draft legal documents. Platform access ends when membership ends; downloaded or executed documents remain with the client subject to Wealth.com's terms. Attorney services outside the included platform scope are separate.

How does quarterly billing and cancellation work?

Planning is $900 per quarter ($3,600 annualized) and Premier is $1,650 per quarter ($6,600 annualized). Both ongoing advisory memberships are billed quarterly in advance with no annual commitment. You can cancel at any time to stop the next quarterly renewal; the current paid quarter remains active and is nonrefundable.

Does Flames FP work only with Minnesota clients?

No. Flames Financial Planning is based in Minnetonka, Minnesota and serves local households as well as clients across the United States through virtual planning. Service availability can depend on each household's circumstances and applicable requirements.

Is the Financial Dashboard included with each membership?

Yes. Access, Planning, and Premier include the Financial Dashboard. Planning and Premier use it inside the ongoing dedicated-advisor relationship for personalized recommendations, implementation guidance, plan updates, and coordinated decisions.
